''Y Cymro'' (Welsh for ''The Welshman'', (:ə ˈkəmrɔ)) is a Welsh language newspaper, first published in 1932.〔''The Welsh Academy Encyclopaedia of Wales''. It is the only national newspaper in the Welsh language, and is published weekly, on a Friday.
